A friend of mine that I met here in Lawton, OK has her own handmade boutique and one day she blessed Sugarplum with the cutest pink girlie bloomers... What's a Sugarmama to do with such cute bloomers??? I created my very own Bib Necklace thanks to Pinterest that has sucked all the life of me and has gotten me all craftsy... So with that said I present to you my first.lil.wanna.be.photo.shoot of Sugarplum ;) I am only sharing these to my close family & friends due to no shirt and because Sugardaddy said so!

Day 2 - Er visit

It all started at about 3 a.m. with hubby with an upset stomach ;( We both had eaten McDonald's on Sunday evening and so did Sugarplum but she ate nuggets and fries and we had hamburgers and fries. Hubby was constantly going to the bathroom and oh how I wanted to help but how can you help your hubby when what he is doing you can't help with ;( Once I woke up around 8 a.m. I started feeling ill too. Sugarplum was just fine-PTL! I was in the restroom pretty much all morning and then I started feeling chills and bodyaches. I tried to lay down but I just was not comfortable with nausea setting in. Finally I went to lay in the bed with hubby and we both tried to figure out what.in.the.world.did.we.eat! Sugarplum was just running around the house and having a good ole time while we just layed there with NO energy what.so.ever! Sugarplum came up on the bed and we were trying our hardest to keep her entertained in her bedroom so she won't get what we have. She wanted Mommy! I tried to pick her up and I couldn't {insert a Mommy breakdown}. Right there I told hubby take me to the ER. We were both seen and Sugarplum traveled along with us. Talk about a rough ER visit LOL. This is where I wish family was near ;( We were there for about 6 hours. We were told we both have a stomach bug and that possibly Sugarplum would get it.

Praise God we are feeling better and Sugarlpum has not and will not get it in Jesus Name! Amen ;)

Well hello again...

I am believing in 2012 it's going to be great! I am really hoping I can blog more this year... I have TONS of priorities and I need to accomplish some goals. My #1 priority of course is to become closer to God. 2010 and 2011 I felt I veered a little off my walk with God. I want to be on FIRE for God again!

I do it again...

Well hello again...
It's been forever since I've blogged and well that's why the title says "I do it again." I don't know how many times I start a blog and not blog on it for like ever! I want to start different things and so hopefully I will come on here more to blog, show you my 2 new hobbies "thrift findings" & "couponing." I will also share what I do in my craft room after I get that craft room organized... I seem to have it organized and when I go back in it after doing 1,2,or 3 projects it's like a tornado went thru it :/ Oh well I think craft rooms are never really picked up enough.

A little about Sugarplum:
*She is a CLIMBER! HELP!!! She wants to be on top of everything...
*Loves Mommy's craft room and her sewing machine!!! Not sure how many times you hear "No ma'am" in our apartment.
*Loves going to Zumba with Mommy! This girl loves to dance ;)
*Loves playing with the water in the toilet-YUCK! I found her with a cup and scooping out all the water from the toilet onto the floor. Uggg!
*Loves Barney & Dora the Explorer.
*Is talking like crazy... She sounds Vietnamese(sp?)LOL
*Her words now are: Mama, Dada, Dora, Dog, Ba for Balloon & Ball, Wawa for Water & Agua, Cheche for Leche (milk). Since we are teaching her English & Spanish I think she is a bit mixed up which is normal.
*Her eye teeth are coming in and I think she just has her molars to come in and she will be done! She already has one set of molars.
*Loves to be outside and does NOT want to come back in the apartment.
*Loves sleeping with us in our bed :/ Trying to get her to sleep in her room in her crib.

Procrastinator!

Did I even spell that correctly? LOL Well that is what I am... A Procrastinator! I always start and blog and say I'm going to start really blogging and then I post my first post and about a year later I post again. Why o why am I that way? Maybe cause I am now putting the Lord first when I wake, doing a devotional, reading a Christian book, caring for my Sugarplum and my husband, shoeing the dog away from Sugarplum and her food, telling Sugarplum to get out of the fridge and pantry, and well the list can go on. I love my life though... Everyday I find myself and just thank God for everything!

I am hoping to start a list of my daily things I want to get done in the house. Like at night I want to have the kitchen clean. That means NO dishes, cleaned stovetop, garbage put out, etc...

What is up with all these {....} I thought about that the other night while I was trying to sleep and I was telling myself "why do I do that?" Yes I talk to myself! I guess it's just a habit now ;)

Ashley~I am going to post a few things I made for Sugarplum's room. I am so happy with the way her room looks. All we need is a toy chest and we are good to go. I found a DIY tutorial for a chandelier and also a DIY tutorial for Embroidery Hoops with fabric. I love your posts Ashley! You inspire me chic! Now I am going to have to re-upholster my dining table chairs since I saw your chair you got at Target! We don't have a Target in Lawton, OK ;( I hope you have a girl ;)

Well off to crochet an order!

Welcome to Sugarplum's Mama blog ;) This is my 2nd blog that I have in the blog world but this one is who I feel I am now (my blog from after my miscarriage in 2008). I love to blog but never find the time to. Now that I am home all day I think I can get at least one or two posts in a week MAYBE. I want this blog to be about alot of different things from my life as a mom, a military wife, my little boutique, and lots of odds and ends.

Oh and just so you know the reason for my blog name "Sugarplum's Mama" well my hubby calls Elanie-Sugarplum, so that is where I got it from ;) We are just silly like that!
